VolumeDisplay

When I first got my hands on a Mac I was very impressed with it's built in Volume Onscreen Display when the volume changes. I decided that I was going to put a similar utility on my Vista laptop. I had a few requirements:

• No Adware/Spyware junk I hate advertisements, I don't want my computer settings to be messed around with...I'm happy with my current default browser/search engine, and I have sensitive data on my machine I need to keep safe.
• Look very slick, displaying the volume level is useful, but at the same time it should be treated as the gratuitously awesome effect that it can be.
• Completely customizable I want to be able to express myself with my computer.
• Not eat up CPU cycles as a software developer, I need all the horsepower my computer can give me. Wasting it on overly complicated widgit systems, and poorly coded software is unacceptable.

After looking for a few days I found that there was no product for Windows Vista that would give me the features I needed. I decided to write it myself, and in a day I had a product that performed better than any of the products I had considered. After a few bug fixes, and new features I came up with this product, the website, and custom theme development system. I wrote the code in C#.net, and don't require any additional libraries that will eat your CPU cycles.
